Right after releasing the main game I moved to a smaller team working on the first DLC for Dying Light 2. We started with pre-production phase that focused on finding interesting combat scenarios that were unique and fit the general theme and direction of a DLC. Entire DLC was focused on gladiator style fights held in a theater. I was responsible for level design of the “Prince of Thieves” spectacle which was one of the four main spectacles in the game, additional combat and parkour challenges scattered across the map as well as scripting and maintaining story quests in our internal story scripting tool. I was also responsible for making sure that everything related to parkour system was using our internal metrics.
